Ting-kwong Buddha, also known as Ting-kwong Ancient Buddha and Master Ting-kwong, is the only monk in Chinese history to have been formally conferred the title of "reincarnation of Ting-kwong Buddha" by the imperial court, and is the "protector" of over 100 million Hakka people worldwide.
