Central axis

The commercial core in the middle of the planning area is the most distinctive, dynamic and modern urban commercial business centre for the whole of Yanshan. It is also home to the future Ethnic Cultural Square of Yanshan City. The commercial pedestrian street and the Ethnic Culture Square together form an east-west axis. The Sanqi cultural waterfront landscape area on the west side of the Hearing Lake is representative of the Hearing Lake area's style and is the focus of this urban design.

University City

The University City is located next to the Hearing Lake, with a privileged location, and is designed with "nature, humanity and heritage" in mind, to build the "most beautiful university in China" and the "century-old university".
