Peng'an Wenmiao Temple (Confucian Temple), originally built in the Yuan Dynasty, with existing buildings rebuilt in the seventh year of Daoguang's reign of the Qing Dynasty (1827), symbolizes the widespread dissemination of Confucian culture. Peng'an Wumiao Temple (Martial Temple), rebuilt in the fourth year of Qianlong's reign of the Qing Dynasty (1740), is also known as the Guan Di Temple.
In-depth research of "Peng'an County Annals" to excavate the historical and cultural significance of the Wenmiao and Wumiao Temples. Based on the existing buildings, design and layout will be implemented, utilizing diverse art forms such as statues, portraits, and real-object displays for exhibition. This will fully reflect the unique historical charm of the Peng'an Wenmiao and Wumiao Temples, as well as the region's profound cultural heritage and unique humanistic spirit.
