Jiulong Valley Forest Park is characterized by its picturesque scenery where water meets the sky, flowers and fruits are fragrant, hills rise and fall, and trees are lush. It is known as Putian's "back garden."

Based on the principles of forest protection and green development, the project will combine tourism with cultural industries. It will use "Dragon Culture" as its guiding principle and "Ecological Jiulong Valley Recreation Resort" as its theme. Leveraging existing forest resources and incorporating Dream Culture, Mazu Culture, and Xu Xiake Culture, the overall layout and functional structure of the scenic area will be rationally planned. High-quality tourism products will be developed and combined to create an ecological tourism resort integrating ecological protection, cultural tourism, comprehensive entertainment, leisure accommodation, forest sightseeing, ecological science education, and health preservation. The cultural connotation of the Jiulong Valley scenic area will be highlighted, making it a landmark "Dragon Culture" forest tourism area in Fujian Province.
