City Quality Improvement - Cangyuan County Beautiful County Project

Overall Positioning

Based on Cangyuan County's high-quality natural and human resources, this project responds to the guiding principles of Yunnan Province's "Three-Year Action Plan for Greening and Beautification of Yunnan's Urban and Rural Areas" and the "Opinions on High-Quality Promotion of Urbanization Construction with County Towns as an Important Carrier." It focuses on creating a "high-quality county town" and beautifying the "city's image." With the theme of "Green and Beautiful Cangyuan," it adheres to the "three-in-one" integration of transportation networks, urban construction, and industrial development, promoting the "three-fold integration" of ecology, industry, and culture. Through four major strategies of "removing clutter, increasing greenery, adding color, and integrating culture," it starts from two aspects: "architectural style and humanistic landscape." It incorporates elements such as the "Sigangli Legend" and "the intangible cultural heritage of the Dai ethnic group" for artistic creation, optimizes the functions of urban public spaces, promotes the construction of "Green and Beautiful Cangyuan," and thus drives the development of the cultural tourism industry.
Airport to County Town Triangle Intersection: By incorporating the "New Journey, New Achievements" emblem of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, characteristic directional signs, national intangible cultural heritage such as Dai ethnic group's wooden drum dance, and landscape greening improvements, this area will be developed into Cangyuan's first impression window.
Guangyun Road: With the theme of "Charming Cangyuan, Colorful Dai Villages," this project will deeply explore the connotation of Cangyuan's folk culture and shape the city's spiritual image. While ensuring its main transportation function, it will create an urban cultural street integrating cultural experience, leisure life, and tourism commerce. It aims to enhance people's sense of fulfillment, gain, and happiness.
Sigangli Avenue: Respecting the existing landform environment, this project will improve the architectural and landscape styles. Combining the Sigangli mythology, it will create a transportation corridor, ecological green corridor, and tourism gallery centered on Sigangli culture. Sigangli Avenue will become a new landmark of Cangyuan County's urban development, leading Cangyuan towards new heights in cultural tourism. Hulu Lake Park: Hulu Lake Park will focus on Dai culture, incorporating the content of General Secretary Xi Jinping's reply to the veteran village secretaries of Cangyuan County's border villages and the heroic deeds of the Banhong Anti-British War. The park will enhance its cultural connotation, optimize plant configuration to create a clear and orderly landscape environment, and add a children's playground to improve park functions. It will be developed into a "city living room" with cultural display, beautiful environment, and leisure and entertainment functions.
