Historical and Cultural Block Renovation and Improvement - TaiNing Ancient City Zhuangyuan Street

Design Concept:

Based on Zhuangyuan Street, the project uses four strategies: "removing clutter, adding greenery, enhancing color, and integrating culture." It aims to create a street space that carries traditional historical memories and possesses unique vitality, improving people's lives through "small renovations."

This landscape renovation will rationally utilize the existing street space. Through various planting methods such as tree pits, flower boxes, and seasonal flowers, combined with the placement of urban furniture such as seats and streetlights, and the integration of Zhuangyuan cultural elements, the goal is to improve service facilities, enrich plant landscapes, and carry on cultural heritage.

Design Highlights:

The renovation enhances the area near the Zuosheng Road pedestrian street, creating a tree-lined avenue. Through the creation of "open + semi-open" spaces, combined with the cultural node of "Zhuangyuan's Homeland," it symbolizes the profound meaning of TaiNing's long-standing Zhuangyuan culture, attracting people to gather here. It creates a distinctive "Zhuangyuan Culture" check-in point.

In the street area, a cultural node themed on the "examination shed" is set up. Using modern artistic techniques to recreate the scene of the examination shed in ancient imperial examinations, it uses an entertaining and educational approach to embody the Zhuangyuan culture, providing a place for tourists and residents to relax and interact.
