Tourism Project Planning and Design - Namibia Rafting Plan

This rafting plan's overall route is designed based on the map of Namibia. It preserves the local original plants and incorporates the unique flora and fauna of Africa. The water flow during rafting will vary between fast and slow, with approximately one-third of the flow being gentle. The biggest highlight of the design is that tourists can experience the thrill of "hunting" while rafting. Each tourist's life vest will have a laser-sensing hunting rifle with a built-in chip attached by a rope. During the rafting process, they can shoot simulated animals, and the built-in chip in the rifle will automatically accumulate and record scores. Although this plan features "hunting," it still aims to protect animals. Shooting protected animals during rafting will result in point deductions, serving as a warning to tourists. The entrance to the rafting area will display the types of protected animals and relevant regulations from international animal protection laws. A donation box will be set up, and an animal protection fund will be established. All donations will be given to the International Animal Protection Fund. This allows tourists to enhance their awareness of animal protection while experiencing the thrill of rafting, and also improves the rafting scenic area's reputation and influence.

The plan uses the hippopotamus, a representative animal of Namibia, as a design element. Water sprays from the "hippopotamus'" mouth, and there are rafting figure sculptures on the waves, with exaggerated and dynamic forms. This installation is located in the entrance square of the rafting project. It is highly entertaining and interactive, with a strong visual impact. It will be the most representative landmark of the entire rafting scenic area, providing a place for people to take photos and creating lasting memories.
