This design adheres to Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection of Yunnan. Based on ecological civilization construction, and centered on the people and the new development concept, it integrates the "thousands of miles of greenways and ten thousand miles of flower belts" into the concept. Leveraging Wenshan's unique cultural resources, urban spirit, and industrial brand advantages, it strives to achieve the optimal design solution through four strategies: political, economic, cultural, and ecological. It accelerates urban renewal, identifies the positioning and themes of each city entrance, and transforms them into beautiful gardens, forest parks, and citizen parks. It creates high-quality city entrances, promoting a significant improvement in Wenshan's urban appearance and quality.

The work, themed "World Capital of Panax Notoginseng," is shaped like a Compendium of Materia Medica. The open,镂空 book-like shape is like opening a window, symbolizing Wenshan Panax Notoginseng's global reach. The front is engraved with "Compendium of Materia Medica" and entries such as "Panax Notoginseng, also known as mountain lacquer, invaluable," while the back is engraved with the efficacy of Panax Notoginseng. A vibrant Panax Notoginseng plant is vividly depicted in the central镂空 area, showcasing unique artistry and the long history and cultural characteristics of Wenshan Panax Notoginseng. Located in the east expressway entrance area, the surrounding area uses a virtual and real artistic expression, combined with Panax Notoginseng installation art, to form a stunning Panax Notoginseng flower pattern in an enclosed shape. The theme is clear, the colors are eye-catching, and it forms a unified visual system with the "Compendium of Materia Medica" work. Countless Panax Notoginseng seeds symbolize the booming development of Wenshan's Panax Notoginseng industry, highlighting that Panax Notoginseng has always been a precious gem, thereby spreading the brand influence of the World Capital of Panax Notoginseng.

The work, themed "Ode to Prosperity," uses stone as its main material and stands approximately 9 meters tall. The number "9" sounds like "jiu" (long), signifying the long-term stability of ethnic unity. Using realistic artistic techniques, it depicts a local Wenshan bronze drum, which serves as the visual center of the entire work. This reflects Wenshan's reputation as the "Home of Bronze Drums" and "one of the origins of bronze drums in the world." The bronze drum carries significant historical and cultural weight and national spirit, representing a priceless treasure in Wenshan's ethnic culture. The "Wenshan Zhuang and Yi Ethnic Drum Dance" project is listed in the "First Batch of National Intangible Cultural Heritage" by the Ministry of Culture. Surrounding the drum are representations of Wenshan's 11 ethnic groups, joyfully gathering together in harmony. The grand scale expresses the concept of drawing a "circle of unity" to consolidate centripetal force. The base is engraved with "Ode to Prosperity" and ethnic patterns, showcasing Wenshan's rich ethnic customs. Located at key entry points to Wenshan City from the east and west expressways, the work also enhances the surrounding environment. The original retaining wall features slogans expressing the spirit of "the Chinese nation is one family, working together to build the Chinese dream," integrating with the "Ode to Prosperity" to reflect the Chinese dream and the dream of unity of the great Chinese people. It also showcases Wenshan's high regard for ethnic unity and development, allowing the flower of ethnic unity in Wenshan to bloom brilliantly.

The park city, which practices the new development concept, builds a spiritual highland of values in the new era. Culture is an important driving force for high-quality urban development. The improvement of urban quality is inseparable from the organic integration of urban culture and the guidance, cohesion, and inspiration of local spirit.
