Public art installation for the Beijing Winter Olympics
Designed by British sculptor and principal of the Hampstead School of Art in London, Isabel Lantry. The artwork incorporates the concept of wisdom and the Winter Olympics, and also promotes the splendid culture of the Chinese nation. Its main shape is a pink flower, reminiscent of the growth and blossoming of flowers in spring, "just like athletes releasing their potential on the field and growing as a result."
