Three years ago, a global open call for public art works for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics was launched, with artists from over 50 countries and regions submitting 1611 proposals. Ultimately, 15 sculptures from 6 countries were selected. These sculptures serve as artistic mediums for exchanging Winter Olympics culture and conveying the Olympic spirit. They embody the vision of 'allowing the Olympic Games to benefit development and progress, and allowing the world to become more interconnected and understanding,' and significantly enhanced the urban landscape quality around the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee and the Shougang Ski Jump, becoming a cultural and artistic legacy left by the Winter Olympics in Beijing.
