In July 2015, Xiamen City Sheng will group officially signed a contract for the planning project of Ethnic Culture Square in Yanshan County, Yunnan. The project passed the review of the county planning committee on July 2. Xiamen City Sheng General Group will be responsible for the overall planning and scheme design and construction of the Yanshan Ethnic Cultural Square project.

　　With a total investment of 140 million RMB and an area of 37,646m2, the Yanshan Ethnic Cultural Square project is one of the key cultural projects currently being built in Wenshan City, Yunnan Province. The main focus is on the continuation of ethnic culture, increasing the protection of the intangible cultural heritage of the Yi string dance and pottery making skills, with the aim of promoting the intermingling of cultures and the continuation of ethnic relations. The creation of the Yanshan Ethnic Cultural Square will certainly become a landmark place for people to understand the ethnic culture of Yanshan and interpret its history and culture. It will become a model classic for the creation of ethnic culture in Wenshan City and even in Yunnan Province, enriching the connotation of local culture and promoting the growth and development of a harmonious community culture.
