Beijing Winter Olympics Village

The Olympic Truce mural set up in the Olympic Village during the Olympic Games is a peace activity that continues the ancient Greek tradition of the Olympic Truce, aiming to convey the peaceful and beautiful concept of the truce. The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics truce mural is named "Light of Peace", and its creative inspiration comes from the Chinese traditional lantern, which symbolizes family reunion. The lantern is divided into six petals, each of which is refined from the "Jade Dragon" image of the Hongshan culture, and the inside of the lantern also has the structural characteristics of a pomegranate. The work interprets the concept of pursuing peace, promoting understanding, overcoming differences, and moving forward together. During the Games, it will provide athletes with a signing service.
